Thankful for Our Nonprofit Community
Before we take off to be with family and friends, I hope you’ll join me in giving thanks for the nonprofit community we are building across South Carolina and the many opportunities we have to grow as individuals and as leaders.
I started in this sector almost ten years ago, and every step of the way, I have felt supported by the Together SC network of nonprofit leaders and our allies.
When I began my career, my only real experience was working with the Nonprofit Clinic at USC Law School (it’s still a great resource) and my many years volunteering. I turned to Together SC (SCANPO back then) to build my skills and network.
Since then, I have learned so much from many of you.
Whether we met at Together SC training or the Summit, served on the Operations Peer Network Leadership Team, and now the Together SC board, I'm genuinely thankful for the constant support for the nonprofit sector and professional development opportunities provided by Together SC.
While this is my first year as a Together SC Board member,This holiday season, I want to share my thanks to the Together SC team for the support they show all of us, and for the opportunity to work in such a vibrant non-profit community to help South Carolina and its people be the best they can be!
