How Are Federal Funding Changes Impacting Your Nonprofit? Tell Us in the SC Pulse Poll

Posted By: GP McLeer For Good Connections,

From shifts in grant timelines to increased administrative burdens, federal funding changes are affecting how South Carolina’s nonprofits serve their communities.

We want to hear from you.

Together SC and the South Carolina Grantmakers Network (SCGMN) invite all nonprofit organizations—regardless of size, mission, or location—to complete a short Nonprofit Pulse Poll now through May 21, 2025.

This effort will gather real-time insights on how federal policies and funding decisions—like ARPA and infrastructure dollars—are affecting nonprofit operations, staffing, partnerships, and sustainability.

Your responses will:
  • Help funders better understand the barriers and opportunities you’re facing

  • Inform advocacy and support strategies at both the state and national levels

  • Ensure the nonprofit voice is heard as policy decisions are made

The survey is anonymous, and aggregate results will be shared in Fall 2025 with nonprofit leaders, grantmakers, and policymakers to help guide future funding and collaboration.

“We know nonprofits are stretched thin. That’s exactly why your input is so valuable—so that funders and decision-makers understand the challenges and where we can step in.”
Karen Riordan, CEO, Together SC

🗓️ Survey Deadline: May 21, 2025
📍 Open to all 501(c)(3) organizations serving SC

We hope you’ll add your voice and encourage your peers to do the same.

Together, let’s ensure South Carolina’s nonprofit sector is seen, heard, and supported.
