Together SC Launches Statewide CEO Roundtable Symposium to Advance Leadership, Innovation, and Collaboration Across South Carolina’s Nonprofit Sector

Columbia, SC, Together SC, the statewide connector and convener of South Carolina’s nonprofit network, announced the launch of the inaugural Nonprofit CEO Roundtable Symposium, a new statewide leadership initiative designed exclusively for nonprofit CEO’s and executive directors. Taking place on February 26, the symposium marks a significant step forward in strengthening executive leadership, advancing collaboration, and equipping nonprofit CEOs to lead through rapid change and growing community needs.

As nonprofit organizations continue to serve as essential drivers of economic vitality, social innovation, and community resilience across South Carolina, the demands of executive leadership have never been greater. The CEO Roundtable Symposium reflects Together SC’s commitment to investing directly in nonprofit leadership by creating intentional spaces where CEOs can convene, exchange ideas, and explore emerging strategies shaping the future of the sector.

“Nonprofit CEOs are navigating complex challenges while driving transformative impact in communities across our state,” said Karen Riordan, President & CEO of Together SC. “This symposium represents an important milestone, bringing leaders together to strengthen peer connection, explore innovation, and collectively shape the future of South Carolina’s nonprofit ecosystem.”

The CEO Roundtable Symposium builds on years of engagement through Together SC’s CEO Discussion Group, which evolved into the CEO Peer Network to deepen collaboration and shared learning among executive leaders statewide. The CEO Roundtable Symposium expands this vision, providing a focused leadership experience centered on collaboration, innovation, and forward-thinking strategy.

The CEO Roundtable Symposium is generously supported by annual sponsors: Solutions by Shawn Edwards, Colonial Life | Unum, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Google, and Charity Proud.
