Black Nonprofit Leaders Group - Spring Symposium

Wellness and wholeness. Self-care. Recovery from workplace trauma while honoring our authentic selves.
We'll use this year's virtual Symposium to build upon earlier discussions (held at SC's Nonprofit Summit and in last fall's virtual sessions) of issues that we, as Black Nonprofit Leaders, continue to face.
Let's focus on what's next for each of us as individuals as we put into practice what we've learned this year.
Les Echols, a long-time member of our Leadership Team, will host this call and share his experiences about working to belong in the workplace while honoring his authentic self.
Tina Phillips, LISW-CP of No Shame Counseling will join us to share professional tips for acknowledging and recovering from workplace trauma.
Then we will break into small groups by region to share our personal plans for next steps. These conversations will be hosted by members of the Leadership Team:
- Lowcountry - Sherrie Snipes-Williams
- Pee Dee - Nicole Echols and Les Echols
- Midlands - Trimease Carter and A'Netra Hardy
- Upstate - Alecia Brewster and Travis Wharton
