Hello Allies

As a nonprofit leader, you know better than most the effect COVID-19 has had on all aspects of life in South Carolina.

To help combat the spread of the disease, DHEC has recently launched a public health campaign - Stay SC Strong. The campaign focuses on delivering key messages that promote proper public health practices aimed at reducing the spread of Covid-19.

As follow-up to our June 3rd Talking Together call, we’re urging our nonprofit leaders to come together and help us share the Stay SC Strong message.

What Can You Do to Help?

The Stay SC Strong campaign will offer resources like videos, social media posts, and posters with messaging focused on three main ways to stop the spread of COVID-19:

  1. Masks
  2. Contact Tracing
  3. Testing

We’re asking our nonprofit partners to help share these messages by sharing provided email content and social media graphics and captions with their audiences.

Stay SC Strong will provide new content each week for you to share.

Step 1.  Join the Campaign

Help us Stay SC Strong by sharing the message with your audience.

Step 2.  Stay informed and Share

Stay SC Strong's first specific toolkit encourages wearing of masks.

The toolkit provides messaging, videos, and social media posts that you can download and use. These resources are available in English and Spanish.

We all know how much we need to encourage folks to wear masks. Here are tools to help you do just that.

Additional information about COVID-19 and its impact on South Carolina can be found at the DHEC website.

Thank you for your support,
