This event is designed for nonprofit and philanthropic staff working in marketing, communications, development, or wearing any of the many hats required in the nonprofit world.

Keynote
Mitzie Schafer, CFRE, brings over 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and fundraising, specializing in storytelling strategies that deeply connect donors to the impact of their generosity. At the Nonprofit Storytelling Workshop, Mitzie will share her expertise in crafting compelling narratives that not only inspire donors but also drive significant growth in giving.
Her session will focus on how nonprofits can develop and implement storytelling strategies that resonate with their audience. Participants will engage in an interactive workshop where they will learn how to identify impactful stories, gather essential elements through thoughtful interviews, and craft narratives that highlight the transformative change their organizations bring about.
By the end of the session, attendees will have the tools and a clear plan to create their own storytelling strategies, ensuring they leave with a ready-to-implement approach that will enhance their communication efforts and strengthen donor relationships.
