Emilee O'Brien

Emilee is the Director of Policy and Advocacy at United Way of Greenville County. She has worked in the United Way network for three years and previously served United Way of the Piedmont as the first Director of Advocacy. She is working to find policy solutions for United Way of Greenville County's advocacy priorities of childcare, affordable housing, transportation, post secondary access, and higher earnings. She has called the Upstate region of SC home for over a decade and brings experience from teaching, working in think tanks, and a passion for grassroots organizing to her role.
