Advocating Together

Posted By: Chynna A. Phillips For Good Connections,

Together SC and our Advocacy Allies Peer Network seek to empower our nonprofit peers and members by providing you with deeper knowledge of the political processes, stronger connections with elected officials, and greater awareness of the issues that matter most to our sector.

As we move into full-blown election mode - with nearly 200 local races on the ballot on November 7, and presidential primaries around the corner in early 2024 - awareness of the issues becomes critical.

That’s why your Advocacy Allies Leadership Team is hosting the first-ever SC Nonprofit Issues Forum on November 14th, in Columbia. This afternoon event will highlight four major policy issues in which our friends and colleagues across the state are engaging:

  • Affordable Housing Across SC

  • Equity in SC's Healthcare Quality & Access

  • Threats to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

  • The Power of Your Vote

You’ll hear from panels of your peers and nonprofit experts as we dive deep into these critical issues hoping to spark increased collaboration and collective action throughout the sector.

New to advocacy? Come see how you might join a more extensive network to help make change happen.

We have seen what happens when nonprofits team up to advocate together. Legislators listen. Change happens.

Reserve your spot today. See you on the 14th!

Your Allies for Good.
