Posted By: Brooke Robertson Nonprofit Summit,

The 2026 SC Nonprofit Summit, South Carolina’s largest gathering of nonprofit, philanthropic, and community leaders will be held in Greenville March 9-11, 2026.

Presented by Together SC and cohosted by the United Way Association of South Carolina and the South Carolina Grantmakers Network, the event is presented by Wells Fargo and sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Dominion Energy, Colonial Life, Martus Solutions, and many others.

This year’s theme, Woven Together, will highlight the power of connection, collaboration, and community in driving meaningful change across the state. With more than 700 nonprofit and philanthropic leaders expected to attend, the Summit will feature thought-provoking keynotes, interactive workshops, and engaging discussions designed to help attendees strengthen their leadership, expand their networks, and enhance their impact.

Dynamic Keynote Speakers and Conversations

The Summit opens on March 9 at 2:00 PM with an inspiring keynote from Suzanne Smith.

With nearly three decades of experience advising nonprofits, foundations, corporations, and social entrepreneurs, Smith will share strategies for designing innovative solutions to today’s most pressing social challenges.

A nationally recognized practitioner, consultant, author, and speaker, her work has been featured in Forbes, The Chronicle of Philanthropy, and Nonprofit Business Advisor.

Her address, Nonprofit 2.0: Navigating the Road Ahead, will explore how nonprofit leaders can adapt to rapid change driven by artificial intelligence, funding shifts, burnout, and declining trust. Smith will encourage attendees to reexamine their missions and adopt bold, adaptive approaches to leadership.

The session will also feature opening remarks, sponsor recognition, and additional program highlights.

On March 10 at 10:30 AM, attendees will hear from Dr. Cory Scheer, a respected author, consultant, and researcher on organizational trust.

As founder of TrustCentric Consulting, Dr. Scheer has partnered with nonprofits, businesses, ministries, educational institutions, municipalities, and the U.S. Military to help rebuild and sustain cultures of trust. His keynote, Closing the Trust Gap: Why Trust is Declining and How to Rebuild It, will address the growing challenge of trust erosion across organizations and industries.

Drawing on decades of research and real-world experience, Dr. Scheer will provide practical, data-informed tools for identifying and closing trust gaps.

Through case studies and his Structure of Trust® Framework, he will guide leaders in creating workplaces where trust can grow and thrive. The session will also include welcome remarks, sponsor highlights, and additional program features.

Following the keynotes, attendees will participate in panel discussions moderated by Dr. Kirsten Naomi Chapman of United Way of Greenville County and Meliah Jefferson of the Jolley Foundation.

In addition, over 35 engaging breakout sessions will be offered covering a range of nonprofit sector topics and issues and two receptions allow attendees to network and deepen their relationship with peers.

A Space for Learning, Networking, and Collaboration

“The 2026 Summit will be an incredible opportunity for the SC nonprofit and philanthropic network to join together and learn important skills, while connecting with one another,” said Karen Riordan, President and CEO of Together SC.

In addition to plenary sessions and workshops, the Summit will feature networking receptions, exhibitor showcases, and opportunities for nonprofit professionals to engage with funders, policymakers, and industry experts.
