Professional Bio
Coming from a low-income family, I understand firsthand the struggles faced by many hard-working people that are struggling to make ends meet. Whether it’s the challenge of lacking basic school supplies, the anxiety of where the next meal will come from, or the aspiration for a brighter future without adequate resources to begin that journey, these experiences fuel my passion for serving others and tackling poverty directly.
At LifeWorks SC, we are driven by a clear mission: to restore families, rebuild communities, and reduce poverty. We envision a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive regardless of their circumstances. Our belief is firm—poverty should never be seen as a life sentence; it’s merely a temporary obstacle that can be overcome through collective efforts and compassion.
We dedicate ourselves to empowering those within the working class, particularly those facing or currently living in poverty. Every individual deserves access to essential tools and resources for growth and success. That’s why we offer vital services such as Academic and Career Support, GED Test Prep Tutoring, Justice Involved Expungement and Pardon Support, Credit Clinics, and Human Rights Advocacy.
Together with our community members, we aim to create pathways for change—transforming lives one step at a time.
