Midlands Nonprofit and Philanthropic Leaders - We miss seeing you. 

We are ready to be back in person with our colleagues and what better place to start than in the heart of the state.  

We have partnered with our friends at the Central Carolina Community Foundation (and any other funders who want to join in) to bring you Nonprofit CHEER - Community Hangout to Enhance Equity in Relationships!

What's Nonprofit CHEER?

An opportunity for funders and nonprofit leaders to come together with no strings or expectations other than to build authentic relationships. Let's celebrate the summer solstice in recognition of blogger Vu Le’s suggestion that socializing together helps break down barriers. Area grantmakers who are joining include:

• Sisters of Charity Foundation of SC
• Central Carolina Community Foundation 
• United Way of the Midlands

Welcoming New Execs

Many new execs joined during the pandemic. At last, we can welcome them in person. If you are a new CEO or ED, be sure to let us know you are attending so we can help introduce you aroung.

Exploring the Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center

Plan on exploring the terrific new Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center that opened right before the pandemic and is available for nonprofits to rent for retreats and other events. The Girl Scouts will talk about their work and provide a guided tour of the facility. 

There will be light refreshments and door prizes for those in attendance!
