Stephanie Cureton

Stephanie Cureton is the Executive Director of Dance Collaborative, a nonprofit dedicated to making high-quality dance education accessible regardless of ability, location, or resources. Since joining the organization as a teaching artist, she has served in a variety of leadership and operational roles before stepping into the Executive Director position, bringing a deep understanding of nonprofit management, program development, community partnerships, and organizational growth. A lifelong dancer and educator, Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Psychology from Agnes Scott College after training at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities. In addition to her role at Dance Collaborative, she serves as adjunct dance faculty at Anderson University, directs English Theatre Arts, and continues to choreograph and perform professionally. She is passionate about creating opportunities for people of all abilities to experience the power of movement and believes the arts have the ability to strengthen individuals and communities alike.
