Professional Bio

Mrs. Comeletia Pyatt is a native of Georgetown and a retired educator. During her 30-plus-year career with Georgetown County School District, she worked as a middle and high school science teacher, middle school assistant principal, middle school principal, GCSD principal mentor, and State Department of Education and District Teacher Evaluator.
Professional Affiliations: Carolina Association of School Administrators, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, SC Endeavors, and the South Carolina Early Childhood Association (SCECA).
Community Affiliations: Life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and immediate past president of the Georgetown alumnae chapter.
She currently serves on the Georgetown County Water and Sewer District board of directors and holds the office of assistant secretary.
She has been honored as Georgetown County School District Teacher of the Year for two consecutive terms. Georgetown County School District Administrator of the Year has received numerous Community Awards.
