Marie McDonald, MBA

Marie Majarais McDonald has over 20 years of experience spanning the healthcare, international business, and nonprofit sectors. Prior to her appointment as Council Director at Girls on the Run Upstate SC in 2024, she most recently served as the Family & Community Services Coordinator at Greenville County Schools, Language Access & Trafficking Survivor Coordinator at the South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, and the Director of the Family Bridges Program at Pendleton Place. Marie holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the College of Charleston and an MBA from The Citadel. She informs her work with GOTR Upstate SC through her experiences working with disinvested communities across social service and health organizations.
