Erin Walters

Erin Walters is an experienced executive leader with a proven record of driving organizational performance through people-centered leadership, disciplined operations, and results-driven strategy. With deep expertise spanning nonprofit leadership, healthcare operations, and multi-unit retail management, Erin brings a rare blend of mission alignment, financial acumen, and operational rigor.

Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Neighbor to Neighbor of South Carolina, Erin leads a community-based organization focused on transportation, food access, and social connection for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and veterans. Since assuming the role in October 2023, she has guided the organization through strategic growth, funding diversification, and systems transformation, with a strong emphasis on Results-Based Accountability, equity, and sustainable community impact.

Previously, Erin served as Operations Manager at Tidelands Health, where she managed complex business operations, budgets, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, highly regulated healthcare environment. In this role, she supported and managed multiple DHEC and healthcare access grants, strengthened grant compliance and reporting, and significantly improved database accuracy and credibility, enhancing operational efficiency, financial oversight, and service delivery across the system.

Erin’s nonprofit leadership foundation was built during her tenure as Operations Director for Habitat for Humanity of Horry County, where she played a pivotal role in scaling the organization from building one home per year to as many as ten annually, averaging six homes per year during her leadership. She oversaw construction operations, volunteer management, retail store operations, fleet and donation management, and policy development, while helping modernize data systems, strengthen board engagement, and align local practices with Habitat for Humanity International standards.
