Professional Bio
Cristina Picozzi, MPH, MS (they/she) joined the Harriet Hancock Center staff in March 2024 after volunteering for six months with the organization. They bring over 12 years of extensive public health, nonprofit, fundraising, and leadership experience to their role. Cristina has a master’s in nonprofit management focusing in online communities from Northeastern University, and a Masters of Public Health with a focus on nutrition and social justice from UNC Chapel Hill. They are on the partnership council for the Women and Gender Studies Department at University of South Carolina. They are dedicated to enhancing public health outcomes through inclusive and equitable practices, something they bring to their work with the HHC. They are committed to driving impactful change and fostering a supportive environment where all individuals can thrive.
