Together SC and the Municipal Association of SC (MASC) have partnered together to provide all 271 cities and towns in South Carolina with guidance on granting to nonprofits with American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding.

Every city and town in South Carolina will recieve funding from the ARP, ranging from $21,000 up to over $25 million. We've covered the ARP many times over the last few months, but as nonprofits know, local governments are able to distribute funds to nonprofits as part of the funding's many eligible uses.

This guidance provides some basic recommendations as local governments decide if and how to issue grants to local nonprofits in the wake of COVID-19. Nonprofit leaders should use this resource as one of their tools to advocate for local support of nonprofits.
