|Your Together SC Team|
The Together SC team members represent and work in various locations across the state as one would imagine a statewide organization would in today's virtual world.
When reaching out to one of our team members, the preferred contact method is email because we can best respond to your inquires with the inclusion of hyperlinks and attachments. Our office phone numbers redirect to staff cell phones, for when Together SC members are in need of more immediate assistance. General inquiries should use our contact us page so we can best direct you to the appropriate staff member or section of the website.

Ben graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2012, earning his bachelor's degree, masters in social work and masters in public administration. He studied nonprofit organizations extensively and was excited to leave the ivory tower and gain real-world experience with SCANPO. He is a board member of Camp T.A.L.K. (Teaching Advocacy and Life-skills to Kids), a nonprofit a summer day-camp for children with autism, that he helped to incorporate and gain 501(c)(3) status. He is an active member at Reformation Lutheran Church, where he sings bass-baritone in choir. Ben lives in Columbia with his partner Jeremy.
Madeleine has served as president since January 2011, bringing her passion for South Carolina's nonprofit sector and all that it does. She works closely with Together SC's board of directors to advance services to members and the sector and is guided by Together SC's mission, vision and core values.
Like many of our members, she has run start-ups as well as established nonprofits. She cut her teeth in nonprofit management in Georgetown in the 1980s and later led the Coastal Community Foundation for 10 years. She's also worked for local and state government, provided consulting services, is a proficient fundraiser and knows the grantmaking side as well.
Madeleine received her bachelor degree and MBA from the University of Virginia. She’s helped build Habitat houses and is a Big Sister with the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring program. She is a SC Liberty Fellow, and served on Town Council for Sullivan’s Island where she continues to live with her husband, Bunky Wichmann, his three amazing children, a Boykin Spaniel named Beau and two cats.
As Together SC's chief "bottle washer," she's eager to hear your ideas and suggestions. Watch out, she'll want to get you involved.
