Nonprofit Finance Basics - Add on to Fall 2019 CLS

For the first time, we are offering an add-on session centered around nonprofit finance basics.  This learning opportunity is optional, yet we encourage all Fall CLS attendees to participate.  The session will be led by Madeleine McGee, Together SC President and Benjamin Bullock, Together SC's Director of Operations.  

Session Date and Time: Wednesday, December 4, 2019  9:30 am - 3:00 pm.

Cost: There is no additional fee, but Fall 2019 CLS Registration must be paid in full before being accepted into the training.

 A sound financial strategy is critical to the success of your nonprofit.  The class is not meant to be comprehensive but an introduction to the basic technical skills involved in Nonprofit Finance. 

The follow subjects will be explored:

  • Building a Budget
  • Fundraising
  • Marketing
  • Grantwriting
  • Understanding Financial Statements
