A day-long workshop by Race Forward for nonprofit leaders to gain a greater understanding of how the distribution of power and the inclusion of those different from ourselves is connected to race in American culture.

Come Learn How to Help Your Organization:

  • Gain greater understanding of the science and history of race, bias, power and privilege;
  • Recognize how institutional racism plays out in society and the workplace;
  • Promote organizational race equity and inclusion; and
  • Network with others in the community.

The ideal candidates should commit to attend and take part in the entire training, have buy-in from your organization, and commit to respectful, open dialogue. This training is ideal for organizational teams of 2 – 5 members.
