Professional Bio
Anne Sinclair is a long-time consultant for non-profit organizations, their boards of directors and leadership staff in the areas of organizational development, strategic planning, and board development.
In addition, Sinclair served on Columbia City Council for twenty years from 1988-2008, served as Mayor Pro Tempore, and served on the board of the National League of Cities. During her services, she represented the City of Columbia on the Columbia Museum of Art Board of Directors, the River Alliance Board of Directors, Engenuity and several development corporations.
Since retiring from Columbia City Council, Sinclair has served on the Columbia Housing Authority Board of Commissioners, the Richland Lexington Airport Commission, and New Morning. She currently serves on the board of the Columbia World Affairs Council and the River Alliance. She also volunteers with 701 Center for Contemporary Art, the South Carolina Environmental Law Project, and Washington Street United Methodist Church.
Sinclair is a long-time resident of the City of Columbia. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Winthrop College (now University) and a Master’s Degree from Clemson University. Anne is married with three sons.
