RE: 2019 Summer Reading Camp Community Partnership Grant Opportunity
 

The South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) announces the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the 2019 Summer Reading Camp (SRC) Community Partnership Grant (CPG) under Proviso 1.59 of the 2018 General Appropriations Act is now available online. Approximately $700,000 in funding will be distributed on a competitive basis. The deadline to apply is 5:00 p.m., February 15, 2019. Applications must be submitted online and will not be accepted after this deadline.

The purpose of the SCR CPG is to provide grants for additional resources to support the SC Read to Succeed Act of 2014 by creating effective partnerships between community organizations and school districts to provide students who are significantly below grade-level reading proficiency with the opportunity to receive quality, intensive instructional services and support

The SCDE will offer an online technical assistance webinar on January 24, 2019, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. via Adobe Connect. E-mail notice of intent to apply for this grant is requested by January 31, 2019, to assist in planning the application review process.

SVP Charleston is Seeking Applicants for the 2018 Investment Cycle
