The South Carolina Association for Volunteer Administration (SCAVA) and the Governor's Office are pleased to announce the 2016 Annual Governor's Volunteer Awards which will be held on September 16, 2016.

Everyone who volunteers in South Carolina is a hero and deserving of recognition.  For many of our dedicated volunteers the simple act of being nominated for such a significant award is an honor in itself.  Please take the time today to make the difference in the life of a volunteer.  All nominees will receive a recognition letter on behalf of SCAVA and the Governor's office.

Nine awards are awarded in the following categories:

Community Leader Volunteer
Direct Service Volunteer
Volunteer Group
Youth Individual Volunteer
Volunteer Family
