How does my nonprofit organization comply with new overtime regulations?
The U.S. Department of Labor recently published new overtime regulations that will require most employers (including many nonprofit organizations) to pay overtime to all employees earning less than $47,476. There are a variety of resources available to research what is required by law, and how the law specifically impacts nonprofits.
The National Council of Nonprofits has provided a summary with key details of the new rule on their Overtime Regulations and the Impact on Nonprofits page.
